This happens, like, once, if you're lucky.
It's totally natural to wonder about this kind of thing, but, really, the gift for me for this one is the experience and I'll be a half century old. I have enough stuff. I worry about how much junk I have (which I love, so I'm not about to get rid of it, but if I don't get more, I won't develop that relationship to new things and keep accumulating).
I also appreciate how exchanging things can cement the memory and be sort of fun, so to honor that but ALSO not deal with receiving gifts, I'd like to be the one that hands the items out ... but like I said, I'm not getting rid of my stuff. Instead, I've got a stack of cardboard, and some sharpies, and some crayons, so give me the gift of letting me draw a picture for you. I'd love that! And I could get rid of some of this cardboard.
